Pop star Cyndi Lauper is asking $1.25 million for the Connecticut home she has long used as a songwriting getaway.

Ms. Lauper purchased the home in the 1980s, around the time her hit record “True Colors” was released, according to listing agent Michael B. Leventhal of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New England Properties.
