FOR A LOT of New York fashion insiders, a visit to the former home of the American Stock Exchange on Trinity Place is something of a trek. So it seemed fitting that the reason many made the trip was for the opening of Louis Vuitton’s “Volez Voguez Voyagez” show. The roving exhibition, previously in Paris, features a model of an old-fashioned plane and chronicles, in part, the history of the French luxury-goods company from a travel perspective—by train, by sea and by air—starting at 1854 to the present.
