I RECENTLY PURCHASED three bottles of white Bordeaux for delivery from a well-known New York wine merchant; I received two whites and one red. I reported the error and received the replacement: another red from the same producer. Since the château in question produces both red and white, an employee must have (repeatedly) assumed the right wine was red.
