Taking a page from Netflix’s playbook, General Motors recently launched a program called Book by Cadillac. For $1,500 a month, subscribers will be able to “borrow” one of the company’s 10 models, then trade it in for another Cadillac as many as 18 times a year. So far, almost 5,000 patrons have signed up for the rental arrangement.
