Rocker
Jon Bon Jovi
has sold his sprawling three-bedroom condo in Manhattan’s West Village.
The apartment was most recently seeking $15.95 million, said a spokeswoman for listing agency the Corcoran Group, who also confirmed the sale. Mr. Bon Jovi first put the duplex on the market for $17.25 million last June, then lowered the price in July.
Located at 150 Charles Street, the apartment spans approximately 4,000 square feet, with three bedrooms and an additional den that could be used as a bedroom. There is a roughly 1,500-square-foot landscaped garden on the lower level, which overlooks the Hudson River. Mr. Bon Jovi closed on his purchase of the unit for $12.88 million in 2015, public records show.
Mr. Bon Jovi didn’t go far to find a new home. He paid $18.94 million for an apartment at the nearby Greenwich Lane condominium development last year. The unit has four bedrooms, 4½ bathrooms, a 40-foot-long living room with Juliet balconies and an elevator that opens directly into the apartment, according to the listing.
Listing agents
Robby Browne,
Jennifer Ireland
and
Chris Kann
of Corcoran declined to comment on the sale or on the identity of the buyer. A spokesman for Mr. Bon Jovi wasn’t immediately available for comment.
